Parenthood is a major milestone in any couple’s life. I can vouch for that because I witnessed my life take a sharp U-turn (definitely, for the better) right after my kids were born. One of the more stressful events that my husband and I had to endure was deciding what to name our babies. Being an Indian daughter-in-law, I had to take a lot of factors into consideration. I wanted to make sure that the names I chose for my babies were rooted in the Indian culture, however, as a ‘modern-day’ mother, I also wanted them to be trendy!
A 100 elaborate, heated discussions later, my family and I were finally on the same page. Phew!
I wanted to spare the horror of name-hunting for all newbie parents by curating a list of the most aww-worthy Indian baby names for girls and boys.
Hope you find something that you absolutely adore for the apple of your eye!
